For the adults

As we grow older, have suffered physical trauma or have learned wrong movement patterns (for instance staring at a screen for hours behind a desk or bending your head to use your phone), all kinds of complaints can arise.

As a result of (neuropathic) diseases (Alzheimer’s, ALS, MS, fibromyalgia, Berchterew’s disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, burnout, rheumatism, knee prosthesis, hip prosthesis,…) your movement pattern can change and you are no longer capable of performing small or large movements.

Here as well, a loss of rotation in the body feels like gravity weighing on you like lead and causing you to lose specific bodily motions or functions. Movement Lesson initiates, stimulates and strengthens the movement pattern in every part of the body via a gentle touch so new connections are made in the brain. Through this gentle touch the brain experiences the movement as if the body was doing it itself. By implementing this pattern the body learns new possibilities to move, usually with very fast results. These are stored and you are provided with improved movement patterns and possibilities. 

The nervous system plays a very important role in this as well. Through Movement Lesson a connection is made with the nervous system so that it calms down. The nervous system is often put in a “fight or flight” mode so that it no longer can absorb the right signals en thus cannot form new patterns in your brain map.

In summary, the combination of calming down the nervous system and initiating new rotating movements will ensure that your symptoms improve significantly and lost functions can be improved.

I can sum up a very long list of additional disorders but as soon as the rotation in your body has completely or partially disappeared and you experience physical complaints, a visit to the practice is definitely recommended.
